Your Mixing and Mastering Engineer

After starting his career at Island Records, Mick Morrison joined Abbey Road Studios in London as an engineer in 2015. He worked on projects for artists such as The Rolling Stones, Elton John, David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse, among many others.

Now based on Australia’s Gold Coast, Mick works with artists worldwide as a freelance mixing and mastering engineer. He’s available for mixing and mastering, as well as audio restoration and repair projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Mixing is for multitracks (individual instruments/vocals). Mastering is for a finished stereo mix. If you want the full start-to-finish service, choose Mixing & Mastering.

  • Most mastering projects are delivered within 5 days. Most mixing projects are delivered within 14 days. Express options are available at checkout.

  • For mixing, export each track as WAV or AIFF (44.1 kHz / 24-bit is ideal), with all tracks starting at the same point so they line up. For mastering, send a final stereo mix as WAV or AIFF.

  • All orders include three revisions. Send through your notes and Mick will make the changes, then we repeat until you’re happy.
